Alma Singer brings her playful, distinctive style to ‘Mates For Life’, her chosen print for the Jealous x Big Issue Deck The Walls campaign.

Unlike much of her work she describes as “a bit self-deprecating,” Alma says ‘Mates For Life’ carries a more positive message, featuring a pair of flamingos everyone can love.

Originally created in crayon, Alma released a print version with @jealous_london earlier this year and hand-finished new editions especially for this campaign, making each one unique and perfect for the festive season.

“I’m a big fan of The Big Issue and all that they represent. I’ve been involved with some of their projects in the past and will always continue to support the cause.”

“For me, Christmas is about spending time with the people you love and telling them so, remembering to be kind and patient, and trying not to have a nervous breakdown when there’s no turkey left at Tesco’s.”

Deck The Walls brings together @bigissueuk, @jealous_london, and 12 UK artists like Alma Singer to create limited-edition prints that change lives.

50% of profits go to @bigissueuk, supporting their work to end poverty across the UK.
