Check out this video walkthrough of @dankitchener epic series of murals at the incredible @restaurant journey in Cheltenham - the concept was to create a fully immersive 360degree experience as you enter through the main door - you walk into Japan backstreets - with traditional buildings mixed in with modern Japan, vending machines, shrines, people behind windows, steamy dimly lit Izakaya, tiny ramen restaurants, air conditioning units whirring, neon signs, geisha Noren banners, cats walking along roof tops - such a joy to create this intense urban scene - a slice of backstreet Tokyo - adding in elements as i painted, this was painted totally freehand and organically with the structure of the building a in place I could then place interesting objects and features as my spray can move across each panel.
