Lee Gihun is a master of surreal imagery, blending haunting nostalgia with darkly whimsical narratives. His richly textured works feel like dreams slipping into memory—at once playful and profound. In Masquerade / Pietà, Lee continues his exploration of emotional duality, confronting grief and joy, concealment and revelation, through his signature anthropomorphic characters and mythical symbolism.
