.... but the art did.
In 2019, @obeygiant was tapped to create a poster and tee for what was billed as @OzzyOsbourne’s final tour. The designs were printed, but after a serious injury and illness, the tour was cancelled. The prints never saw the light of day… until now.
This is the prequel poster to Ozzy’s “Back to the Beginning” show — and a rare moment in rock history frozen in time. Fairey even reused elements from this design in his final Ozzy portrait, flipping the wings 180° for a full-circle tribute.
Available from 17th July, 10 AM PT via the Obey Giant Store. Matching numbered sets will be available in limited quantity.
